Alright, during your time as an overseer you are doubtlessly going to want to show what's going on visually. Here's how. 1. With Dwarf Fortress open and the selected screen (the highlighted one), make sure f-lock is off and use alt-printscreen. If you don't know where the print screen button is, you can find it to the right of your f-keys above the home key on a standard keyboard. 2. Open paint, or photoshop, or whatever image program you use, create a new file, and click edit-paste. It's important you don't copy or cut anything before doing so, as then you'll have to start over. 3. Mount it on an image sharing site and post it. Photobucket and Imageshack are good choices. As you can see, this is my current fortress under siege from some douchebag goblins. Not Pictured: a catapult flinging rocks at them.
